SIC Cyclone
Reaction sintered silicon carbide liner is widely used in mining, ore crushing,
screening and high wear and corrosion fluid material conveying. Silicon carbide steel shell lined with products, due to its good abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance, is suitable for conveying powder, slurry, widely used in mining, mineral processing and power plants and other industries.
The silicon carbide cyclone have many properties:
1. High temperature tolerance.
2. Corrosion resistance.
3. Oxidation resistance.
4. Wear resistance.
5. The life span is much longer than other material.
6. High flexing strength at elevated temperatures.
7. High thermal shock resistance.
8. High temperature tolerance.
9. High thermal conductivity.
10. High resistivity against alkalis.
Shapes:
Materials can be cast into Volutes, Inlets, Feed Boxed, Cones, Spigots, Apexes,
Vortex Finders, Elbows,Tailings, Square to Round and other common cyclonic shapes.
High precision can be achieved in manufacturing shapes, formed by pressing or casting, then sintered in a reactor kiln. Wallthickness from 2 mm for the shaped components is another advantage of using wear protection linings.
Application:
Cyclone linings eliminate complex, time intensive brick or tiled constructions. Drop in thin-walled ceramic
liners can be installed in hydrocyclones, desanders, classifiers, cyclones separators, dust collectors and other
sliding abrasion applications.
Application temperature: up to 1380°C/2212°F depending on application and geometry.
Installation:
Individual shapes and components laid in mortar, epoxy, or temperature and acid resistant based mastics.
Mechanical attachment is also possible
