Product Description

The Silicon Carbide Throatbush is a critical wear component used in slurry pumps, FGD pumps, mining pumps, and other heavy-duty pumping systems. Positioned between the impeller and the front liner, the throatbush protects key wetted areas from severe abrasion, erosion, and corrosion.

Manufactured from Reaction Bonded Silicon Carbide (RBSC / SiSiC), the throatbush provides exceptional wear resistance, corrosion resistance, thermal stability, and mechanical strength. Compared with high chrome alloys and conventional ceramic materials, it offers significantly longer service life and reduced maintenance costs.
