NSiC Heater Protection Sheath (Aluminum Liquid)
NSIC NSi3N4 bonded Silicon Carbide Thermal couple protection tube
Fine NSi3N4 bonded SIC product is a sort of structure ceramic material, NSIC product is shaped by casting with the composition of high pure SIC and Si powder, and sintered through nitrified reaction. Nitride bonded silicon carbide is available in thin plates, thin-walled tube shapes, nozzles and complex special shapes. It can also be supplied with different sizes of cross sections of beams.
NSIC has higher strength than RSIC and excellent oxidation resistance. Maximum working temperature is 1500oC. In addition to its structural properties, NSIC has excellent wear properties and is resistant to corrosion and erosion by successfully used for protection tubes for temperature measurement.
NSIC offers many engineering property levels that are not found in other refractory materials, such as high strength at use temperature, excellent load bearing strength and resistance to chemical and abrasive attack.

Characteristics:

*High abrasion resistance

*High energy efficiency

*Excellent load bearing strength

Description
Product Description: Introduction to Silicon Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide Products

Silicon Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide (Si₃N₄-SiC) ceramic refractory material is mainly made from silicon nitride (approx. 23%) and silicon carbide as the main raw materials, along with organic binders, through processes such as mixing, extrusion or cast molding, drying, and nitridation firing.

Silicon Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide is an advanced refractory material with a wide range of applications. It can be used at temperatures up to 1400°C, exhibits good thermal stability, and offers better thermal shock resistance than conventional refractory materials and recrystallized SiC. It is oxidation-resistant, acid and alkali resistant, wear-resistant, and has high flexural strength. When used in molten metals such as aluminum (Al), lead (Pb), zinc (Zn), and copper (Cu), it offers excellent resistance to erosion and corrosion, non-contamination, and high thermal conductivity.

Product Specifications
