Product Overview
The flat spray tapered nozzle is an industrial spray nozzle that produces a flat fan-shaped spray pattern with naturally tapered edges. This design ensures uniform impact force and flow distribution across the entire spray width. Compared to standard flat fan nozzles, the tapered edge eliminates over-spray at the margins, making it ideal for applications requiring high coverage uniformity.
How It Works
Pressurized liquid passes through a tapered flow channel inside the nozzle and is discharged through an elliptical or slot-shaped orifice, forming a flat fan spray. The spray profile follows a typical "bell-shaped" distribution – highest impact at the center, gradually decreasing toward the edges – ensuring uniform coverage without sharp boundaries.
Key Advantages
Uniform Distribution: Naturally tapered edges provide even flow distribution across the entire spray pattern
Precise Coverage: Available spray angles from 15° to 120°, suitable for both wide and narrow coverage
Clog-Resistant Design: Smooth flow transition reduces the risk of particle blockage
Material Options: Available in stainless steel, brass, PTFE, POM, ceramic, and more
Easy Maintenance: Standard connections support quick installation and replacement
Typical Applications
Steel strip cleaning and cooling
PCB flux spraying
Paper machine fabric cleaning
Waste gas scrubber spraying
Humidification, dust suppression, lubrication
Agricultural pesticide spraying
Key Advantages
Excellent Clog Resistance: Large round orifice allows particles to pass through easily, reducing clogging risks
Uniform Spray Distribution: Deflector design ensures even flow coverage across the entire spray pattern
Medium Droplet Size: Balances coverage and drift control, ideal for showering and cooling applications
Simple and Durable Construction: No complex internal flow channels, easy to maintain
Multiple Material Options: Available in stainless steel, brass, plastic, and more
